Why we like it

Aller Trop Loin is the cheeky sister label of Victorian Winery Six Parallels South.

Inspired by an errant footstep that went too far and ‘de-koshered’ a wine during Six Parallels South’s first vintage, winemaker Mark Sztar decided to use some good old fashioned 'chutzpah' and put a pig (the most non-kosher thing there is…) on the wine’s label, so there was no doubt as to its non-kosher status!

Crafted from fruit from a low yielding, high altitude upper Yarra Valley vineyards. 75% of the fruit went through whole berry fermentation and 25% went through carbonic maceration.

Aromatics of red fruits and blue fruit flowers with flavours of ripe red fruits, blueberries, blue plums and hints of black fruits. A silky, vibrant, juicy and beautifully structured example of this fascinating varietal.

Vegan, unfined, unfiltered – definitely not Kosher!
