There are many pretenders to the throne, but year after year for sheer spell-bounding quality and consistency the Cullen Diana Madeline stands head and shoulders above the rest. This vintage was hot and dry, which means the vines yielded smaller volumes of more concentrated fruit. This produced a wine of elegance, balance and perfume… effortless.

The first impressions of this Bordeaux inspired blend has graphite, mulberry, plum and cherry. The palette is resplendent with dark cherry, bayleaf and cinnamon that is framed with fine grained tannins and incredible length.

Cullen is one of the best estates in Margaret River if not Australia and strictly adheres to biodynamic farming principles. These extraordinary wines are up there with the best in the world and any wine collector worth their salt will be scrambling to get one of these into their cellar. Exquisite.
