Why we like it
A Muscat Rouge/Semillon blend from the guys over at South Australian outfit Rasa wines. This is a lighter style/chilled red little number and we are picking up what those winemakers are putting down! The smaller Semillon portion of the blend was pressed and fermented in stainless steel to keep it clean, crisp and lively. The Muscat Rouge went through carbonic maceration for 12 days to lean on the grapes juicier, vibrant characteristics.
The resulting wine is like sticking your nose in an Istanbul market! Sour cherry, Frankincense, Turkish delight, ripe plum. Delightfully fun and ever so moreish.
