Why we like it
Gros Manseng is a very rare grape variety originating from Juracon in France. It was historically used in the baptism of French royalty but today it is little known. In fact there is only one vineyard of this rare French varietal planted in WA.
A rich palate with an attractive chalky mouthfeel that displays pear, ripe peach and orange rind with hints of melon, almond meal and toasty oak. A wine and variety with a great future.
